Robotics and Automation in Construction (ARCon) Lab
Robotics and Automation in Construction (ARCon) Lab focuses on research to expand the value and applications of robotics for the construction industry. Through the research into better planning and work packaging, information transfer for automation of tasks, site information in dynamic environments and digital twins, as well as the direct uses of site robotics and the evolving use cases. The lab undertakes simulations, physical experiments, and field research to advance both fundamental and applied approaches to transform the construction industry. The lab considers both enabling research efforts, from design for robotic construction as well to direct applications of robotic construction activities. The goal of the lab research is to transform our built environment through the adoption of autonomous and robotics.
